As a spiritual retreat centre, we offer several rooms for private prayer and contemplation. Each room is is equipped with a comfortable chair and sound reduction, providing the perfect space to carry on conversation with Christ, or feed your soul with Scripture or other literature. We even offer a library of resources on spiritual formation from masters in the field, both old and new.

Grow With Your Community

In addition to individual rooms, our facility offers space for groups to rent. These rooms work well for group prayer times, vision and planning meetings, or teaching spaces. They are also available as general meeting rooms. These larger spaces, combined with the individual rooms and our lovely outdoor park area make Urban Sanctuary the perfect spot for your group's spiritual formation retreat. We can even lead it for you if you like - making it a powerful retreat for everybody on your team.

The Grounds

During the spring, summer, and into the fall, you can make use of the beautiful grounds around the Taylor campus. In addition to the well maintained campus, there is a large field and park space near our building, and a short walk across the football fields brings you to the Whitemud Ravine and the walking path along the top of the valley.
